Whistle of the Week | Gary Clark Jr. – When My Train Pulls In

After checking the lineup announcement for this years Summer Series at Somerset House, I was ecstatic to see that this man made the list.

I first heard of Gary Clark Jr. after seeing him in the Jon Favreau film Chef and had Gary’s album on order before the credits had finished. A blues man from Austin, Texas he channels that distorted guitar sound of old and sings about trains with those oh so smooth vocals.

“When My Train Pulls In” is no different; fix yourself a bourbon, get that air guitar in tune and push up the volume as this needs to be enjoyed loud!
